Sweden announced significant increases in its Defence Budget

Sweden has recently unveiled a major increase in its defense budget, signaling a significant shift in its military strategy in response to growing security challenges. The country plans a substantial military buildup, with a goal to raise defense spending to 3.5% of its GDP, up from the current 2.4%.

Additionally, the Swedish government announced on March 31, 2025 a military aid package for Ukraine worth 1.5 billion Euros.
