France announced a 2 billion Euros military aid to Ukraine

On March 26, President Macron announced that France will increase its military support to Ukraine by an additional 2 billion Euros. This pledge was made during a summit of 30 world leaders focused on strengthening aid to Ukraine. The new military assistance will include anti-tank missiles, surface-to-air missiles, armored vehicles, and drones.

Emmanuel Macron stated that “This aid is not useless, because in Ukraine, our security is at stake”. He also added: “And if we abandon Ukraine in its resistance, first of all we're not playing our part in Europe for our collective security, and secondly it's our own security, our own interests, that we're letting be threatened”.
